O most sweet and most merciful Jesus, receive this our small supplication, as Thou didst receive the widow’s two mites, and preserve Thine inheritance from all enemies visible and invisible, from strife, from sins, from every affliction and mortal blow; and deliver those who cry to Thee: Alleluia!(This Kontakion is repeated thrice, then Ekos 1 and Kontakion 1 are read again.)
