The Akathist continues through thirteen pairs of Kontakia and Ekoi. Each Kontakion narrates a mystery of the Incarnation and ends with Alleluia! Each Ekos offers twelve Chairetismoi (Rejoice salutations) and ends with Rejoice, thou Bride Unwedded!Selected salutations from later Ekoi: Rejoice, ground of the tree of life! Rejoice, well of living waters! Rejoice, font that watereth the garden of souls! Rejoice, harbour for those sailing through life! Rejoice, treasury of prayers! Rejoice, incense of intercession!
