Eighth Tone · Eirmos: Having traversed the deep with dry feet, Israel of old fled the Egyptian's tyranny; and crying: Let us sing to our Deliverer and God, they sang a song of victory.Refrain: O Lord Jesus Christ my God, have mercy on me.Vouchsafe me, Thy servant, to praise Thee with contrite heart; and do Thou Who art kind free me from the burden of transgressions through the prayers of mine Angel who serveth Thee.O guide of my life, most pure Angel, standing before God, with thy great boldness earnestly beseech Him to grant forgiveness of transgressions to me who flee to thee in compunction.O holy Angel of God, guardian of my wretched soul and body, by thy prayers and intercessions deliver me from all adversity, that I may take thee as helper and leader in the Kingdom of Christ.
