Prayer to Our Lord Jesus Christ

O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner. O Jesus, receive me as Thou didst receive the prodigal, and the thief, and the publican, and the harlot, for I have sinned above all men. O Jesus, look on me with Thy loving-kindness, as Thou didst look on Peter who wept, and Manasseh in captivity. O Jesus, save me as Thou didst save the harlot, and the thief on the Cross, who confessed Thee. O Jesus, Creator of all things, make me anew by the grace of repentance. O Jesus, cleanse me from filth, and heal the leprosy of my soul. O Jesus, Lover of mankind, raise me as Thou didst raise Lazarus; and deliver me, as Thou didst deliver the three youths from the furnace. O Jesus, foreseen of the prophets, sought by the apostles, seen by the righteous; have mercy on me a sinner. Now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
