Sixth Tone: A protection of Christians not to be put to shame, a constant mediation to the Creator: disdain not the suppliant voices of those who are sinners; but hasten, O good one, to the succour of us who cry to thee in faith. Hasten to intercede and make speed to entreat, O Theotokos, who dost ever protect them that honour thee.
